Version 4.0 is the Fall 2010 release, with the player roster as of August, and updated schedule and coach information.

This application is designed to give football fans the information you need to follow the team this year. The database resides on your iPhone or iPod Touch, and contains records of personnel, schedules and all past games played. The presentation of the data is organized around the topics that come up when you are talking about the team, watching the game on TV or at the stadium, or just hanging around a tailgate. Here are the questions that this application can answer for you:

Who do they play? Where, when? Find the current schedule on the main menu. Tap a team and get the history of all past games with that opponent. Information on future schedules is presented as well.

Who is on the team? Who is that player wearing jersey #14? The roster is available from the main menu organized by number, by name, by position and by eligibility class so you can analyze the team in different ways. You get names, positions, and class as well as a brief description of each player including height, weight, hometown and high school.

Who is coaching those guys? A roster of the coaches and their responsibilities is also provided.

What happened back in the old days? What about that season when I was at school? The results of every game ever played by the team through history, accessible by the year or by the opponent played.

The information on the app will be automatically updated weekly during the season to reflect game scores and schedule changes.

All of the information presented on this application is available on the web, but it is not always convenient to access the web while watching a game. This application puts all its information right on your device so it works fast, isn’t dependent upon an Internet connection, and is presented in the easy-to-read format typical of iPhone applications. There are no flashy graphics or sounds to slow things down or burn battery life. Just the facts in a concise and easy-to-read format.
