At the core - Chinatalk is a two-way English to Chinese and Chinese to English sentence translator that not only displays Chinese character translation (Hanzi) , but also pinyin and unique patent pending reverse translation and colorization for learning.

The software was developed as a communication and learning tool as the inventor himself is learning Chinese and adopts the tool for use in the real world.

Proprietary color coding of words indicates which character(s) corresponds to which Pinyin and English reverse translation.

Auto-detect automatically determines if the translator is to translate English-Chinese or Chinese to English.

Select Google Translate or Babelfish for better speed (Google Translate) or accuracy (Babelfish - Yahoo)

Favorites: Save your favorite translations for future and offline use.

History: Tracks the history of your translations allowing you to quickly recall previous translations without retranslation.

Speed: We have optimized for speed but will depend on your network settings and network speed as this is dependent on internet server based translations.

Hanzi to pinyin is accomplished on the iphone so a 3GS will be faster than a 3G.
