Zora O'Neill first visited Cancun, Isla Mujeres and Puerto Morelos in 2003, on assignment for Rough Guides. After a dozen trips, the area is still one of her favorite places for resting up, lying in the sun and eating well. She has written about the vibrant, friendly and surprisingly hip city of Cancun in "The Rough Guide to Mexico," "The Rough Guide to the Yucatan" and "Cancun & the Riviera Maya Directions."
