Hiking Great Smoky Mountains National Park

For those that love the great outdoors and feel like hiking in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this application is for you. It provides easy-to-use day hike information for over 60 hikes in the park and all the park trails.

The many detailed hiking maps can be panned and zoomed to make it easy to route your trek.

Features for each hike:
-trailhead information
-hiking distances
-elevation change
-trail difficulty
-trail rating
-trail description
-trail map
-vertical profile

The park is divided into four sections (West, North, South, and East) to make it easy for you to find a hike.

The app also includes climate and weather information, so you can plan your adventure for the right time of year.

All this information is contained within the app. The only data that is obtained via the internet is the radar, weather forecast, and one map - the “Trailhead Locations” map because it uses Google Maps.

Even if you aren't heading to the Smoky Mountains in the next few days, using this app allows you to dream of the day when you get a chance to see the amazing wildflowers or sit near the many flowing waterfalls or just enjoy the sounds of the forest.
