The state of Utah has five fantastic national parks – Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands and Arches. These parks provide visitors the chance to experience unique desert environments and amazing landscapes from the Great White Thrown in Zion National Park to the distinctive Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.

If you are planning on hiking in one or more of these national parks, this app is for you.

It provides easy-to-use day hike information for almost 100 hikes in the parks. Whether you want to climb to the top of Angels Landing or look through the Windows of Arches, this app has hikes ranging from easy to strenuous.

The hiking maps are included inside the application, so there is no downloading of files when you are ready to hike. All the maps can be panned and zoomed to make them easier to read.

The app also includes weather and climate information, so you can plan your adventure for the right time of year.

Internet access is needed for the latest weather forecasts, weather radar, and for the “Trailhead Locations” base map.

Even if you aren't heading to southern Utah in the next few days, using this app allows you to dream of the day when you get a chance to see the incredible beauty of this slickrock, desert environment.

This is not a GPS app.

Added a Sunrise/Sunset button to the weather tab, which allows users to get sunrise, sunset, and length of day information for select park locations on any date in the future
