jAirCodes version 2.1 is for iOS 4.1. Please do not install or update on versions of iOS lower than 4.1.

Stuck in a long line at United and want to check Delta? Using jAirCodes, you can quickly look up Delta and call its reservations number without having to type in the number.

Ever looked at an old airline reservation and wondered where SDF is? What type of plane is an E70? What airline is F9? jAirCodes will answer those questions for you, and more:

* Airline code lookup
* Airlines listed alphabetically
* Airport code lookup
* Airports listed alphabetically by city
* Aircraft code lookup
* Aircraft types listed alphabetically
* Calls to 85 major airline toll-free reservations numbers using the iPhone telephone application, or display of the reservations numbers if using an iPod Touch
* Links to Wikipedia articles about more than 800 major airports using the Safari browser
* Links to Wikipedia articles about 301 aircraft types using the Safari browser

jAirCodes has six tabs:

-- Airline Codes Tab --
Spin the two picker wheels individually to select an airline code. jAirCodes will tell you what the airline code means. Press the CALL button to call the airline's toll-free reservations number from an iPhone, or to see a display of the toll-free number is using an iPod Touch. Toll-free numbers are available for all major U.S. airlines and many foreign airlines which do business in the U.S.

-- Airlines Tab --
This is a list of airlines indexed by airline name. Spin the left picker wheel to position the list by the initial letters of the airline name (not airline code). The airline name is preceded by the airline code on the right picker wheel. Use this picker wheel to position the list to the desired airline. Press the CALL button to call the airline's toll-free reservations number from an iPhone, or to see a display of the toll-free number if using an iPod Touch.


-- Airport Codes Tab --
Spin the three picker wheels independently to select an airport code. jAirCodes will tell you what the airport is. For major airports, press the WEB button to call Safari to open the mobile version of the Wikipedia page about the airport.

-- Airports Tab --
This is a list of airports indexed by city name. Use the left picker wheel to position the list by the initial letters of the city/airport name (not airport code). On the right picker wheel, the city/airport name is preceded by the airport code. Use this picker wheel to posiition the list to the desired airport. For major airports, press the WEB button to call Safari to open the mobile version of the Wikipedia page about the airport.
