Parks Envi NE

The National Parks, monuments and other sites of the northeast and mid-Atlantic, in your pocket! Parks Envi NE brings hundreds of Web-based photos and maps from parks in these historic states to your iPhone. Whether you want to plan a trip before you go, check out the view from one of the live webcams, or figure out exactly where you are when you're there, Parks Envi NE will make a great outdoor experience even better.

From the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in New York. Gettysburg and Independence Hall in Pennsylvania, Boston National Historic Park and the Cape Cod seashore in Massachusetts, Acadia National Park in Maine, to the beautiful Chesapeake Bay that spans six states, Parks Envi NE displays Web-based parks images, from the NPS and others, the way you would expect on the iPhone: full screen, with multi-touch controls, in automated slide shows or scrolling image arrays. Mountains, scenic rivers, lakes, valleys. Monuments, battlefields, national trails, other historic sites and more. They're all part of Parks Envi NE. (Complete state list: Connecticut, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont.)

The app is also more than just a bunch of pretty pictures. It includes access to in-depth information on the parks, and even the ability to view their location in the Maps application.
