Roadside Stories - an audio tour of New Zealand

Roadside Stories are a series of audio guides to places of interest on major road trips in New Zealand. Each guide tells the story of an attraction along the way - its people, its history, its cultural and natural significance.

The Roadside Stories app currently contains 10 tours with 110 stops (two more tours - for West Coast and Northland - will be added shortly). Each stop has a four-minute audio file and images of the location.

You can download the tours individually before heading out on the road so you don't have to worry about mobile data. Each tour includes a map showing the location of the stops.
