World Oil Spill Locator

Are you interested in learning more about the locations of oil spills around the world? Visualization of this information brings an added perspective to the impact of using oil in our industrialized world. These locations can be viewed on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad on MapMuse’s free easy-to-use interactive map app. View the places globally or zoom to an area to view the location in more detail.

In addition to viewing Oil Spill information you can add comments or submit photos for any place displayed on the map.

Is there an oil spill you would like to add to the map? Do you see information that needs to be corrected or enhanced? You can do that right from your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad by touching “Add” at the bottom of the screen or choose the “Update or correct information” button on the information page for a specific oil spill location. Information submitted is then reviewed by MapMuse for relevance and accuracy.
