Calibrated iBall
The Augmented Reality leveling tool for the iPhone.
Calibrated iBall is a projected leveling application, much like a heads up display in a fighter jet, projecting an image onto a surface as seen through the iPhone camera.
Features:
• Plain Level: Standard overlays used for most leveling applications
• Tilt Level: Rotatable overlays used for dynamic angle measurements (you can't do that with a typical level)
* Choose from a variety of overlays
• Protractor: Semicircular tool for measuring angles
Uses:
- Hang a picture and make it level with just the iPhone
- Align multiple pictures on a wall, space them appropriately
- Hang multiple pictures above a staircase with rotatable overlays
- Protractor tool: find angles, roof pitch, rise, run, slope and grade.
- Check if something is level, square and plumb
- Site planning for landscaping or a deck
- Use the protractor to check a prospective mate for facial symmetry
