A "loaded" random number generator!

It appears as an app named 'Random' on your iPhone/iTouch but that's just to fool the unknowing.

With a simple unassuming tap you can make this normal looking random number generator produce the highest value in range, the lowest value in range, a random value in the lower or upper 25% of the range.

Looking at the screen no one will know that this app can turn into “loaded dice.” You can use it as a normal random number generator to produce values in any range you like. But if the roll needs to go a particular way, you have that option.

You enter the maximum value in the range like a normal iPhone/iTouch application. Press the “Go!” button and a perfectly fair random number will be generated.

But:
- If you tap in the lower right region of the screen before pressing the “Go!” button, the largest value in range will always be returned;
- If you tap in the lower left region of the screen, a value of 1 will always be returned;
- If you tap in the middle right region, a value in the top 25% of the range will be returned;
- If you tap in the middle left region, a value in the lower 25% of the range will be returned; and
- If you double tap in any of the regions after activating a cheat, the cheat will be removed and a fair random number will be generated.

The second screen shot shows a layout of the 4 regions:
- Tap region 1 to roll highest;
- Tap region 2 to roll lowest;
- Tap region 3 to roll high 25%;
- Tap region 4 to roll low 25%;
- Double tap in any of the 4 regions after activating a cheat to roll fair;
- Without a tap the generator will roll fair.
