Downtime -- Check if a Website is Down

Have you ever wondered if a certain website you're on is down or not?
It may seem like everyone else is able to access the site expect you, but you're not sure.

Now there's "an app for that"!

Downtime is an incredibly easy way to check if a certain website is down.

-Downtime has incredible precision. 99.9% correct results everytime!

-SUPER easy to use interface -- Just enter website and press "Check Status"

-If you discover a website is down @downtimeapp(http://twitter.com/downtimeapp) will automatically tweet saying so to help spread the word.
(You can decide whether you want @downtime to tweet or not)

- Also, you're given the option to share a site that you found is down or up!

**How to Use**

I can't stress to you how easy this application is to use.

OPTION 1: If you are browsing Safari and you find a website that you feel is down just go ahead and copy the website URL and when you open up "Downtime" the URL will automatically be entered in the textfield. All you have to do is press "Check Site Status"

OPTION 2: You can manually type in a website in the textfield. Don't worry about adding "http://" or "www." -- We'll do that for you :]


This is a great way for Website owners to constantly keep a look out on their website. Also, checking http://twitter.com/downtimeapp periodically will let website owners know exactly when their website was discovered as "down" so they can fix the problem.
