To use other than the default bulldog alarm, do not screen lock to prevent the iphone/ipod from disabling the wifi connection. The screen will darken progressively automatically, and if placed facedown the iphone will shut off the display completely - but the app will continue running.

The virtual bulldog alarm clock radio, for the English Bulldog lover. Fall asleep to the soothing white noise of a snoring bulldog. She will lull you to sleep with up to an hour of snoring (or none at all for those who prefer quiet!). Tap the screen to bring up the config menu. Set the alarm function to wake you to the video of a rampaging, barking bulldog, or for users that have downloaded the free Pandora radio app, wake to the sound of your favorite music! (If Pandora is not installed, it will notify the user and default to the bulldog alarm regardless of setting. If the network is unavailable, it will notify the user and default to the bulldog alarm regardless of setting)
