iNet Portscan

Scan ports via LAN, VPN or internet and discover security risks.

Applications on devices communicate with the outside world through so called TCP-Ports. iNet Portscan detects which ports are open and therefore are reachable by others.

The list of found open ports shows the port number and the service using this port with its real name (if available). You can easily detect which ports are open for purpose and if ports are open that have not not to be open.

To prevent long scan times you can select from predefined portlists. So you can easily and fast scan for open ports without having to know the meaning of portnumbers in detail. Moreover you can enter port ranges and single ports for scanning and adjust the scan time to your surrounding (LAN, VPN, internet) to prevent not finding open ports if the scanned device reacts too slowly.

The ports to scan can be saved per device so there is no need to reenter all values again for a new scan of this device.

Via the info button you get some basic knowledge about ports and port scanning.
