Insect Repeller
Annoyed with insects flying around? Sick of mosquito bites? Take control of your air space with Insect Repeller. This invaluable tool will irritate insects in the radius of 10 feet and will repel if they try to get closer. What makes this repeller unique is its ultrasound waveform which humans can't hear, yet the insects can't bear.
Keeps repelling in sleep mode to use minimal battery at night.
Use External speakers to increase the repelling range.
External speakers required for iPod Touch and 1st Generation iPhone.
The sound that is generated is not audible to humans, so you should not hear any sound when Insect Repeller is repelling. If you would like to check that there is indeed a sound, use a audio analyser tool which supports frequencies over 20 kHz.
Note: Insects are not smart, if they want to get out of a room, they will keep flying around until they find an opening to exit through, however they may not be able to find the door or the window. Also it takes time for the insect to locate the source of the ultrasound, so they may not be repelled straight away. This does not work on big insects or insects that are stationary.
