Lift Velocity is an accurate speedometer that does NOT rely on the GPS.

This means that you can measure speed anywhere, yes, absolutely anywhere in the world. Even when you are in a lift or deep underground where NO GPS signal is available.

Works on the iPod Touch and iPad too!

- Measures speed with indication of which direction you are heading towards.

- Shows reading in four different units of speed:
m/s - meters per second
ft/s - feet per second
km/h - kilometers per hour
mph - miles per hour

- Save max speed recordings for future reference and comparisons.

- Simulated LCD display (LCD dot matrix fonts shown in the screenshots are only available with iOS 4 or above).

-- IN A LIFT --

1. Make sure the lift is not moving yet.

2. Press your iPhone / iPod Touch against a wall in the lift, upright.

3. Touch the start button and calibration shall begin.

4. Start the lift when instructed on the screen.

5. You will start to see the speed increasing on the screen with the direction you are heading towards to.

6. Stop it anytime you want and save the max speed if you wish.

** Readings may become inaccurate if you shake the device or alter the orientation of the device while recording,



-- IN A VEHICLE (e.g. subway, train, car) --

1. Same instructions as your are in a lift, but hold it sideways.
