Magnifying Glass is a convenient, fun, easy-to-use digital magnifying glass. This app lets you view the real-time images coming from the iPhone camera and zoom-in on an object to get a better look at it. Magnifying Glass is also a fully functional zoomable camera!
Magnifying Glass features:
- Digital zooming
- Fully functional camera
- Rotation of the real-time images coming from the camera
- Ability to freeze and enhance the live image
- Accelerometer-assisted image capture to reduce image blur
- A contrast filter to help improve image details in non-optimal lighting situations
- Switch between the front and back cameras on the iPhone 4
- Turn the iPhone 4 torch on and off
You can manipulate the live images coming from the camera by rotating them in any fashion you would like (for instance, you can read that upside-down menu without having to turn the menu around).
You can also freeze the live image coming from the camera and examine it in higher resolution.
To help reduce image blur, an accelerometer-assisted image capture mode is available to help ensure the iPhone is steady when an image is frozen. After an image is frozen, a filter can be applied to improve the visibility of some image details in poor lighting situations.
Because Magnifying Glass uses a digital zoom, the full original image is saved when a picture is snapped so that no information is lost.
Magnifying Glass is designed for the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 and requires OS4.0 or better.
