Micrometer

Measure anything from 0 to over 2 and 5/8 inches using one of the 4 modes. Even if you work in graphic arts or word processing the micrometer can help, since it will measure point sizes.

STABLE

Even standing up on a moving bus, it
is easy to set the micrometer to the
smallest scale increment with one
hand using the KNURLED-CONTROL-WHEEL
or the increment mode of the SPEED-BAR.

ONE-HANDED OPERATION

Holding the device in the palm of your hand,
all the controls may be operated with your
thumb without blocking the measurement area
or data box. There is a left and right
micrometer which makes this possible.

ACCURATE

This is the most accurate measuring
possible on the iPhone based on 163
pixels per inch.

MODES

INCH 0.00 to 2.62 (.01 increments).
FRACTION 0 to 2-5/8 (1/64 increments).
METRIC 0.00 to 6.68 cm (.01cm increments).
POINTS 0 to 189.4 (.1 increments).
points are based on 72 points per inch.

COLOR CODED

The data window, micrometer barrel and scale
change colors depending on the measurement
mode to instantly recognize which mode
you are using.

PERSISTENT DATA

The micrometer returns exactly where
you left it.

RETAINED VALUES BETWEEN MODES

Measurements are retained when changing
modes. For example if you measured 1 1/2
using the Fraction Mode, selecting the
Inch Mode would would show 1.50. Some
values may change slightly due to the
increment values of the different scales.

CONTINUOUS INCH - METRIC

All measurements are shown in BOTH
inch and metric values with 6 decimal
places giving accurate conversion values.

SPEED-BAR

Touch anywhere in the SPEED-BAR to
instantly position the micrometer
and then refine the position using the
increment wheel or lift your thumb and
use the KNURLED-CONTROL-WHEEL.

MODE-BAR

Sliding along the MODE-BAR rotates a large
wheel allowing you to select a mode or the
left or right micrometer. After selection
the color coded icons on the MODE-BAR
shows the mode and micrometer selected,
red for left and green for right like airplane
navigation lights.
