Instead of browsing to a web site and working your way through the menus and map graphics to find a web camera just open MultiCam on your iPhone and go straight to the camera you want with one click. Flick through the other cameras along your route, in order, with a simple Next button.

Should I stay or should I go?
The traffic is slowing to a crawl. Is it going to clear quickly or is it time to bail and find a better route? Open MultiCam, select the nearest camera with one click and then flick through the web cams along your route to see how far the congestion continues.

Touch the Favorite button on any camera page to copy the traffic cameras that matter to you to your Favorites list for faster access. Switch quickly from Show All to Favorites mode. In Favorites Mode the Previous and Next buttons follow the Favorites list.

MultiCam Chattanooga comes pre-loaded with 61 traffic cameras including I-24, I-75, US-27 and Highway 153. Use the show / hide button, new in version 2.2, to add or remove highways from the scrolling list.

MultiCam is a simple webpage viewer. It can display almost any web page. Pages added manually may not be useful unless they are formatted for iPhone screen size

Cameras are maintained by the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Individual cameras may be inoperative due to weather conditions or maintenance requirements.

What's new

All camera links revised. Recent changes to the traffic camera numbering system broke the links in MultiCam Chattanooga 5.51. This update repaiis all links and adds more cameras.

Please, if you spot a problem with any iPhone app let the developer know. App developers support their apps. Sending a review to iTunes will not help to resolve a problem as the developer won't see it.

Improved update process!
Updating to Version 6.60 from 5.51 preserves Favorite settings.
The update process replaces the camera link database. This is necessary because each new version contains additional information for each camera. When previous MultiCam updates replaced the database the user's previous Favorite settings were lost and had to be manually reset. Following user feedback on this subject we have added a process that tries to identify Favorite settings in the previous version and automatically make corresponding settings in the new database.

Sometimes a camera name will have changed, making identification difficult, but where possible a Favorite setting will be transferred to the new database. The process depends on matching the camera name and on having the immediately preceding version installed. If a named camera appears on more than one highway list with the same name it will be selected as a Favorite in each list.

This version requires iOS 3.1 or later. It is not recommended for iOS 3.0.
Build settings have been changed to resolve a problem affecting users of iPhone 3G or iPod Touch running iOS 3.1.3
Tested for iOS 4 and iOS 5 compatibility
