piClock™
It’s always time for pi!
piClock™ scrolls through a ribbon of digits from the number pi to find the current time and date. See how many places past the decimal point a particular four-digit block lies, and where all the other occurrences of that block appear in the first million decimal places.
Not in the mood for pi? Try a different (à la) mode: scientific types may take a natural interest in Euler's Number, “e”; architects and artists might have a proportionate love for the Golden Ratio, “phi”. No matter in which of these you irrationally place value, piClock™ covers the bases.
Assign time and date numbers separately, and choose which display formats (12- or 24-hour time, MM/DD or DD/MM date) you prefer. Shake to scroll at will, and decide whether digit blocks move steadily through the decimal places or jump around at random.
Designed for both iPad™ and iPhone®, the significantly digital piClock™ can put times on your table —integrating nicely into any classroom— and can function as your constant companion while you’re commuting, associating, or even distributing.
Video preview available at piclock.com .
NOTE: A minor graphics issue affects first-generation iPhones (possibly also the 3G) and first-generation iPod touches. piClock™ is not recommended for these devices.
