speedClock - video radar

       iOS Universal

A unique, advanced app to easily measure the speed of cars, boats, skaters, skiers, cyclists, animals, models, footballs, tennis serves etc, etc. Uses motion detection, so you only have to hold up the iPhone towards the moving object. speedClock also includes two distance estimation tools and an additional high speed tool.

Speed radar
Uses the camera to detect and analyze motion: Hold the iPhone still and let the object pass over the the screen. Set the distance or the size of the object and the speed is automatically displayed. speedClock can be also be set up to automatically measure the speed and save an image of everything that passes.

An additional speed tool records and processes a video, which enables speedClock to handle small, fast object like balls that might be difficult to catch with motion detection.

Distance tools
The stadimeter uses the size of a known object, e.g. a person, to calculate the distance.
The clinometer uses the angle of the iPhone to estimate the distance to a point on the ground.
The distance from either tool can then be used in the speed tool.
