Designing a staircase? Everyone knows it is hard work that involves many calculations. Let Staircase Estimate do some of the work for you. Enter in the total rise, unit rise, unit run, and either the angle or total run to calculate either the angle or total run of the staircase.
Also, it will calculate whether your dimensions satisfy any of the three basic equations for a viable staircase:
R*T is between 70" and 75"
R+T is between 17" and 18"
2R+T is between 24" and 25"
The result will highlight in green if acceptable, or red if not. So if you are designing one staircase for a home project, or do these calculations on a daily basis, this is the app for you!
