vNets is a mobile interface to Vision Networks on the Numenta server, it is intended for those interested in the work Numenta is doing with Hierarchical Temporal Memory. This app was written to help spark your imagination in using their free Vision Toolkit networks in a mobile environment.
Many of the networks are very basic but illustrate possible applications as the toolkit matures.
Use your Photos to interact with the networks or download the sample image folder at iTalentProductions and add the images to Photos. There are also demo videos on the web site.

vNets can be a useful tool if you have a Vision Network on the Numenta Server that you would like to access with your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Access to new User Submitted Vision Networks will be added to vNets in the free version updates.

Networks in version 1.2 ...

Road Reader
Tries to determine how to steer a car based on a picture of the road.

Indoor/Outdoor
This network decides if a picture is an indoor or outdoor scene.

Vision Bot
Shows how a vision system could monitor and advise. This example uses pictures of a gage.

Tic Tac Toe
Tries to determine where its next move should be.

Art Expert
Tries to determine if artwork is Cubism or Impressionism style.

Bird Brain
Decides if it should eat, mate or fly away.

Birds(Egret,Toucan,Owl)
Tries to identify the type of bird when shown a picture of one of these three types.

Full View
Uses two vision networks to locate and identify a plane, boat, UFO or sea monster.

Identify Object
This network is used by the Full View network to identify the object.

Puppies
Trained to recognize a Golden Retriever puppy's face.

Car Logos
Tries to indentify a car logo, trained on 17 categories.

Traffic Signs
Identifies traffic sign shapes, trained on 10 categories.

Paper Rock Scissors
Tries to beat you by looking at your hand first.

Phrase recognition
Example trained on speech waveforms.

Conversation
Another example trained on speech waveforms.

Fire lookout
An example of a network that could watch for forest fires.
