Weather Clock
Just what you've needed in a clock - the weather. Weather Clock not only shows you the current time, but also the current weather and forecasts for your location.
No configuration needed! Weather Clock picks up the local weather forecasts automatically, using the built in iPhone GPS.
It also plays music from your iPod song collection as the alarm. Choose the artist or album (or your whole collection), and the alarm will sound with a random song.
This application is primarily designed to be used with an iPod/iPhone dock or on the charger. The application stays open when being used and stops the device from going into power save mode.
To use off the dock/charger, you can press the "Lock" button located on the top of the iPhone. The alarm clock will continue in the background and activate the alarm at the appropriate time. In this mode the battery is not drained, but you won't be able to see the clock display. However, the alarm will still go off at the right time.
The weather display automatically dims after 20 seconds. You can adjust this brightness level and the overall dimming brightness in the settings, which are available from the iPhone home screen.
Weather Clock uses weather information published by the National Weather Service. Weather is updated every 30 minutes.
Weather Clock is currently only available in the US.
