With WireScanner you may detect live wires, depending on the electrical consumers connected to it. The more current flows, the easier it is to detect. Try it with a hairdryer, boiler or a heater! Hold your iPhone still and near a wire or a wall area where you think the wire could be bricked in. WireScanner will indicate the electrical current by the number of red strength bars.
