AdelaideWinds
AdelaideWinds is from the stable of the popular applications MelbWinds and SydWinds.
It is designed to provide up to the minute information about the wind in and around Adelaide, Australia for sailors, windsurfers and kitesurfers.
It provides
1) Distance to the Points of Presence, so you can see which ones are more relevant to you.
2) Wind sequenced by PoP's near you
3) More detail on weather conditions at the PoP.
4) Wind portrayed on a Google Map so you can see where the wind is (select the pin on the map...)
5) Last 10 * 30 min wind measurements information for the location.
This is the one of a series of applications for each Australian City (these are currently in testing and will be released asap).

What's new
Version 5.0 is being released for summer with many new features to make it easier to find where/when you should make the most of the wind.
The major changes are:-
- added all the SA rain radars to help understand about weather in your vicinity.
- able to sort locations based on wind strength and distance away.
- able to select locations based on wind strength.
- made it easier to select different marine forecasts (just tap on the page title).
- added more detailed Adelaide forecast to help understand what might happen.
- added the ability to set an automatic refresh of wind data. You can now have the map open and see the wind change around the Sydney and NSW as the data is updated on the BOM page.
- manual refresh of the wind data and the forecast data can be done by doing a "pull down" on the table.
- added the ability to tweet details.
