iMapRadar is a simple weather app that delivers the best interactive radar map on the iTunes Store. iMapRadar displays up-to-date, detailed information in the form of radar and clouds (satellite) on an interactive map along with current conditions, full 7 day, and hourly forecasts. Bookmarks allow you to save up to 5 locations with multiple pins ont he map.

iMapRadar uses advanced algorithm technology for data processing to display the best quality radar and satellite data available in the US. Use the “pinch zoom” method to zoom in and out of the map and get detailed radar or satellite information, all the way down to street level.

Type in the name of another location of interest and the app drops a pin on the map, marks that location and gives you current weather conditions, temperatures, forecasts, highs/lows. Click on the blue disclosure button for more details on the current conditions and a full 7 day forecast.

In the map, click the info button in the lower right of the map and toggle your map content to show radar (precipitation) or satellite (clouds). Set the transparency level of radar over the map to show the preferred amount of map detail beneath the radar.

*****IF you experienced issues with the UI or crashes after the update, we have fixed this issue, but it requires you to delete and re-download (you will not be charged again). New downloads and updates after 1/11 should be have no issues.***

LOCATIONS: Save locations so you can monitor weather for multiple locations and get alerted when there is severe weather for one of those locations. Search for your current location (GPS) and change a location at any time.

WEATHER DATA: Get current conditions, hourly and 7 day forecasts (depending on the application) from WDT, one of the leading weather providers in the industry. We power some of the biggest names in weather.

What's new

Thank you to everyone for constructive feedback and suggestions. Many of your suggestions were added to this most recent update. We removed the title bar, added a radar timestamp, hourly forecast, map base layer switcher, multiple pin locations on map, iOS 4.2 compatibility and better network connectivity handling.

Update is for iOS 4.0+ only.
