SoundMeter Basic 2018
iOS Universal Education
SoundMeter Basic turns your iOS device into a handheld sound level meter (SLM) and noise dosimeter.
Input signals can be acquired from the current audio input path (iOS automatically selects the audio input path according to which external audio devices, if any, are connected to your iOS device). Sensitivity calibration can also be performed for any audio input device or input channel.
In addition to real-time sound level measurements, SoundMeter can store acquired sound level data, including date, time, and location, in CSV or TXT (tab-delimited) files, MAT-files, or high-resolution PDF images for later retrieval from your device.

SoundMeter Basic 2018 will receive major upgrades, consistent with those available in the SoundMeter X Standard subscription (except that SoundMeter Basic 2018 does not include an app for Apple Watch), through calendar year 2019, after which it will receive maintenance updates for a limited time. It can be used indefinitely thereafter on a compatible version of iOS.
- SoundMeter Basic will no longer receive feature upgrades, but it will be maintained through calendar year 2021, after which it will be discontinued and removed from sale on the App Store. - Minor bug fixes and cosmetic improvements.
